
Tan is currently an English teacher and he positions to become an education researcher in social justice, power, and politics in education; teacher education; and post qualitative inquiry. His recent research focuses on teacher education and employs critical theories to uncover contemporary issues regarding in/equality and in/equity in education. Also, he has used research methods such as photovoice, storytelling, and writing as pedagogical approaches. He enjoys reading “the posts” i.e., poststructuralism, postmodernism, and posthumanism.
