
Dr. Giang Le (she/ her) is an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Programs in Education at Thompson Rivers University, BC, Canada. She did a postdoc at UBC School of Nursing on projects on health care equity for trans youth in BC. Her scholarship is central to gender theory and gender studies, especially gender issues in schooling and social justice in the context of Asian education and beyond. She is recognized as a young leader in the collective inquiry of Global South studies and emerging trends in disrupting the euro-centric onto-epistemology of Southern theory and knowledge through her work at the Global South Collective, including an annual international symposium on Global South Studies.
