PARTICIPATORY RESEARCH JOURNEYS: BECOMING STORIES

This webinar will focus on the personal and evolving experiences of those involved in participatory action research (PAR), framing their experiences as stories that reveal the process and impact of becoming a participatory researcher.
Marleny will use critical questions in a 45-minute conversation with students, social activists, community members, and practitioners to reflect on their participatory research experiences. The goal is to address the question, “To be or not to be a participatory researcher.” Through this dialogue, participants will share, reflect, inspire, and be invited to engage in conversations about practicing PAR. The audience will be encouraged to share their experiences and ask questions to the hosts and guests, helping to explore and conclude the overarching question of to be or not to be a participatory researcher.
